The Indiana University School of Law—Bloomington has set new records in fundraising. Both its capital campaign (Matching the Promise) and its annual fund (Fund for Excellence) have surpassed their targets and, with tremendous support from alumni and friends, are still growing.
Indiana Law has raised $47 million for Matching the Promise, including its largest-ever corporate gift of $25 million from the Lilly Endowment and multi-million-dollar gifts from individual alumni. Indiana University will match interest income on all qualifying Indiana Law scholarship endowments, and those endowments will exist in perpetuity. A 1:1 match is available for gifts of at least $250,000, and a 1:2 match is available for gifts between $150,000 and $249,999.
The Fund for Excellence has reached similar heights. For the second year in a row, Indiana Law has raised more than $1 million to fund student organizations, clinics, and other programming initiatives.
Every gift—whether to Matching the Promise or the Fund for Excellence—counts toward our success. Find out how you can make your contribution.
